K-Y Jelly Water-Based Lubricant Review

I’m going to share my favorite solo time lubricant that I use. It’s made by K-Y. It is their Jelly water-based lubricant. I like that it is thicker than most lubes out there. There’s not a lot of foreplay that goes into masturbation, so this helps everything feel better and safer. If you read my article about my Colours 8 Inch Dual Density Silicone Dildo, then you know my thoughts on that toy; what I didn’t share is the lube I use with it. The Jelly lube is my go to.

I’ve used other lubes, but I usually find them to be thinner and I’ll need to keep reapplying before I can get into my solo play time, which if you are like me can get frustrating. This lube helps me get there quicker and helps with any discomfort from the friction of whatever toy I am using.

If I were to say a con, it would be that it is gunky and the clean up is harder than most lubes, but not that much harder or time consuming. The extra time spent is well worth the orgasms and solo time I get to enjoy using this lube.

The price is reasonable and you can get it at grocery stores like Walmart or Target. So if you are nervous or don’t have the time to go to a sex store, you can pick it up along with your food and household products. Which if you’re like me, maybe you want to skip making dinner, pick up something at the grocery store and enjoy the time you would spend cooking with the toy of your choice and this wonderful lube!

Some Walmarts require you to ask the beauty employee to get it from behind the glass, but so far I have not had to ask anyone from Target to get it for me.

They have different sizes that you can choose from. A tip from me is that if you can afford the larger size it‘s worth it. You get more sessions with it and don’t have to go to the store to buy another one right away. The smaller size ran out so much quicker than I would have like it to.

One more thing, it may be a pro or con to you, but for me it was a con. When using this lube with my partner, I could not feel the same sensations as I did with other lubes. The feeling was duller and the pleasure was decreased due to how thick it was. I do not use it with partner play time anymore. This may or may not be a con for you like it was for me.
